3. How do I obtain a UA NetID?

4. How do I set up my University of Arizona e-mail account?

6. How does the school inform me of important information?
The official means of communication from all offices at The University of Arizona (including the financial aid office) is via your university e-mail account. We will not direct mail to a different e-mail account. (top)
7. How do I update my address information?
University of Arizona requires that you have both a permanent and local address on record (even if they are the same). Address information cannot be updated by email correspondence with the University for security reasons. Students may change their own local and permanent address through UAccess. (top)
8. What if my name has changed due to a recent marriage?
If your name has changed due to a marriage, you must update your university records with the Office of the Registrar. You may contact the Office of the Registrar with questions at 520.621-3113. (top)

14. What is the Western Undergrad Exchange Program (WUE)?
The WUE is a program in which transfer students in participating states may enroll at UA South at a special, reduced tuition level. WUE will pay 150% of resident tuition. Students do not need to demonstrate financial need to receive the WUE tuition benefit. Qualified students are required to have junior standing.

15. Where can I obtain a 1098T form?
The IRS Form 1098-T is issued to all students with tuition and fee expenses paid during the academic year. It is a tax related document. You will be able to download your 1098-T through UAccess. (top)

17. Can I make an appointment to speak with my Financial Aid Counselor?
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Counselors are available during office hours to speak with students for walk-in appointments. If you would like to make an appointment with a specific counselor, you must contact that counselor directly. (top)
18. Where is the financial aid office located?
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is located in the Administration building (next to the Student Union). Our office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Counselors are on duty at all times to meet with students for walk-in appointments.

19. What is a pending financial aid service indicator (FPA)?
A service indicator of FPA means that you have enough anticipated aid to cover your tuition balance. You will not be enrolled in the automatic payment plan. (top)
20. What is a Fee Deferment (FD)?
A past due balance hold is due to an outstanding balance. You can not register for classes until the entire past due balance is paid in full. Payments can be made online through UAccess or in person at the Bursar's Office. (top)
21. I haven’t turned in my Immunization Records yet. Will my financial aid disburse?
No. Your immunization records are required for attendance at the University of Arizona. Without them, all services (including financial aid) will be blocked. (top)
