Grant Programs Offered Through the Arizona Commission for Post Secondary Education (ACPE)

  • College Access Challenge Last Stretch Scholarship- The College Access Challenge Last Stretch Scholarship (CAC Last Stretch) is a need-based scholarship designed to assist college students who have completed at least 60 college credit hours to achieve their baccalaureate degree at any regionally or nationally accredited institution. Eligible students must have substantial financial need (Pell Grant eligible) as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students must also be a resident of Arizona for at least the previous 12 months at the time of application completion and must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at least half-time.

Arizona Grants disburse late in the semester. Institutions cannot begin the certification process until after the drop/add period of a term. This late disbursement may conflict with the registration payment deadline date. Students must make financial arrangements to pay account balances in order not to incur additional charges.
