Grants are awards that do not have to be repaid. The most common grant awarded to UA students is the Federal Pell Grant, a need based grant awarded usually only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree. All financial aid awards are divided into two equal disbursements paid to the student, half in the fall term and half in the spring term, unless otherwise noted.

- Achievement Award
This is a need-based, institutional grant award reserved for Non-Arizona Residents who meet certain eligibility criteria. Students who meet this criteria are asked to submit the Parent Resource Evaluation form which is then used to determine final eligibility for this award. The deadline to submit this form is March 31, 2017. OSFA will notify students who are also required to have their Non-Custodial Parent (NCP) submit the Resource Evaluation form as well. OSFA will notify students who are selected to receive this award starting in mid-April. This award is renewable for up to eight semesters.
If you have been asked to complete this form, review instructions in your UAccess Student Center. For a step-by-step guide on how to submit the Resource Evaluation, click here.
Note, a student who has not been invited to complete the Resource Evaluation will not be able to grant the parent access the complete the form.
