The following list provides basic information regarding each UA Academic Tuition Award. Most scholarship awards have multiple eligibility requirements, so please read the details carefully. In addition to these postings, visit Scholarship Universe, an innovative scholarship matching system designed and created specifically for UA students. Scholarship Universe matches students’ academic and professional interest with scholarships that also are based on a range of unique characteristics including gender, class standing, and enrollment status. Incoming Freshmen

Scholarship Information Deadline
Arizona Excellence Tuition Award

UA academic tuition award for incoming non-Arizona Residents. See link for terms and application details.

Admitted by May 1, 2015
National Scholars Award UA academic tuition award for both incoming non-Arizona and Arizona Resident National Scholar Finalists. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2015
Regents High Honors Endorsement Award (AIMS) UA academic tuition award for incoming Arizona residents. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2015
Wildcat Excellence Tuition Award UA academic tuition award for incoming Arizona residents. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2015

Guaranteed UA Merit Scholarships

Incoming Fall 2015 Freshmen who meet the following minimum unweighted, 6th semester high school grade point average and CR & M SAT or ACT test scores automatically qualify for the awards listed below, with the potential to receive higher merit offers. All incoming freshman applicants are evaluated for UA merit scholarships. Out-of-state Residents
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1300 CR&M SAT or 29 ACT receives $12,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $48,000
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1220 CR&M SAT or 27 ACT receives $10,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $40,000
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1110 CR&M SAT or 24 ACT receives $6,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $24,000

In-state Residents
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1300 CR&M SAT or 29 ACT receives $8,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $32,000
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1220 CR&M SAT or 27 ACT receives $6,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $24,000
scores of a 3.00 GPA with 1110 CR&M SAT or 24 ACT receives $2,000 per year, renewable for four consecutive years for a total value of $8,000

 

Home Schooled Students
Incoming freshmen who are homeschooled will be evaluated for merit aid based on portfolio/course work and ACT or SAT test scores submitted by the admission deadline.

*All financial aid awards are divided into two equal disbursements paid to the student, half in the fall term and half in the spring term, unless otherwise noted.
