The following list provides basic information regarding each UA Merit Tuition Award. Most scholarship awards have multiple eligibility requirements, be sure to read the details carefully. National Scholars Award UA merit tuition award for Fall 2017 incoming non-Arizona and Arizona Resident National Scholar Finalists. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2017
Dean's Distinction Award - NEW UA merit award based on rigorous curriculum in the 16 core course for Fall 2017 incoming Arizona residents. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2017
Regents High Honors Endorsement Award (AIMS) UA merit tuition award for Fall 2017 incoming Arizona residents. See link for terms and application details. Admitted by May 1, 2017

**Arizona Resident students who earn a 4.00 core unweighted GPA*  are guaranteed to receive a $5,000 Wildcat Excellence Award without test scores! Students must complete the UA Fall 2017 admission application by May 1, 2017 in order to receive this offer. Students interested in a higher scholarship opportunity must submit SAT (Math + Verbal) or ACT test scores by May 1, 2017 to be considered for our top Wildcat Excellence Award. Students are automatically awarded the higher dollar value Wildcat Excellence award in which they qualify to receive, which replaces the lower award offer. ​

Home Schooled Students

Incoming freshmen who are home schooled will be evaluated for UA merit aid (Wildcat Excellence and Arizona Excellence awards) based on portfolio/course work and ACT or SAT (Math + Verbal) test scores submitted by the admission deadline.

All financial aid awards are divided into two equal disbursements paid to the student, half in the fall term and half in the spring term, unless otherwise noted.
