How do students qualify for FWS?

To be eligible for the FWS program, a student must first establish financial need. To determine financial need, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. When the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) receives the information from the federal processor, it is reviewed and a financial aid "package" is awarded to students with "need", which may include a FWS offer. Funds are limited, and students who apply by the priority service date of March 1st of the preceding academic year will have priority for available funds.
