When is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority filing date?

Students admitted to or attending classes on UA Main campus:

The priority filing date to submit the FAFSA is March 1st. You are not required to apply by the priority filing date, but it is highly recommended due to the limited availability of need-based funds such as grants and Federal Work Study.

Students admitted to or attending classes through the UA Online campus:

The priority filing date to submit the FAFSA is 60 days prior to the start of the term for which the student is admitted. Students are not required to apply by the priority filing date, but it is highly recommended to ensure timely processing of your financial aid.

Priority filing dates do not affect eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant or Federal Direct Loans.

What should I do after I completed my Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?
