Understand Your Options: the Parent Plus Loan Workshop

Join our workshop to learn more about the parent PLUS loan option including:

  • how to apply
  • current interest rates
  • when repayment begins
  • options to defer repayment

This workshop will be hosted via zoom on the third Wednesday of the month, April through August 2024, at 4:00 pm (Arizona time).

Determining Your Out-of-Pocket Costs Workshop

Open to all incoming first-year students and their supporters, this workshop will help you calculate your expected expenses for the year and understand how your offered financial aid can help to offset the costs.

Workshops will be held every first Wednesday of the month, via Zoom, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Arizona time.

Investing in Your Education Workshop

Student loans might be a way to invest in your education and ultimately your future. This summer, we’ll be hosting Investing in Your Education, a workshop to help students understand their student loan options. Our workshop will walk you through: 

  1. The difference between subsidized and unsubsidized loans

  2. How to calculate how much you will need to borrow

  3. Understanding of repayment options after you graduate

Workshops will be held virtually on Zoom every second Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm (Arizona time):

  • Thursday, June 12th, 4 pm

  • Thursday, July 17th, 4 pm

We know that students are faced with a number of circumstances that could impact their ability to be successful in their classes and therefore meet SAP standards, which is why our SAP appeal process is in place. To learn more about our SAP policy and how to complete a SAP appeal, we invite you to join us virtually or in-person at an upcoming Getting Your SAP Back on Track workshop
