Are you ready to be a Wildcat? We’re eager to help you get there. Follow these steps to start.
1. Apply for Admission at The University of Arizona
When you submit your admission application, you are considered for:
- University of Arizona Admission
- Merit Scholarships
- Arizona resident admits for Fall 2025 must submit their application by May 1, 2025 to be considered for Wildcat Tuition Awards*
- Non-Resident admits for Fall 2025 must submit their application by December 2, 2024 to be considered for Arizona Tuition Awards*

2. Complete Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
To apply for federal student aid, complete the FAFSA form. The FAFSA is a free application that gives you access to lots of types of financial aid to help pay for college. The 2025-2026 FAFSA will be available in December 2024.
Institutional funding is limited. Complete your FAFSA by the Priority Filing Date to be considered:
- Admitted Fall 2025: April 1, 2025
- Admitted Spring2026: November 1, 2025
When completing your FAFSA, be sure to include Arizona's school code (001083) to avoid delays in the processing of your aid. Remember, you need to complete a FAFSA each year!

3. Explore First-Year Scholarships
In addition to federal financial aid, you may also qualify for one of the following Arizona Academic Tuition awards. These awards are merit-based scholarships, each with their own eligibility requirements and deadlines.
- Wildcat Tuition Awards (for incoming Arizona residents)*
- Arizona Tuition Awards (for incoming non-Arizona residents)*
- National Scholars Award (for both incoming non-Arizona and Arizona resident national scholar finalists)

Deadlines
For timely processing of your financial aid, we recommend you submit the FAFSA as early as possible.
