Apply for Aid: Military & Veterans
Thank you for your dedication and service to our country. This page provides step-by-step instructions for students planning to utilize veteran/military benefits and interested in applying for additional financial aid.
1. Apply for Admission at The University of Arizona
When you submit your admission application, you are considered for:
- University of Arizona Admission
- Merit Scholarships
- First-Year students applying for Summer/Fall 2026 admission must submit their application by the Early Action Application deadline of November 1, 2025 to receive priority scholarship consideration for Merit Tuition Scholarships, pending availability of funds.
- Transfer students applying for Summer/Fall 2026 admission must submit their application by June 1, 2025 be considered for Merit Tuition Scholarships*
- Transfer students applying for admission for Spring 2027 must submit their application by December 1, 2026 to be considered for Merit Tuition Scholarships*

2. Complete Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form
To apply for federal student aid, complete the FAFSA form. The FAFSA form is a free application that gives you access to lots of types of financial aid to help pay for college. The 2026-2027 FAFSA form will be available on October 1st, 2025.
Institutional funding is limited. Complete your FAFSA form by the Priority Filing Date to be considered:
- Admitted Fall 2026: April 1, 2026
- Admitted Spring 2027: November 1, 2026
When completing your FAFSA form, be sure to include Arizona's school code (001083) to avoid delays in the processing of your aid. Remember, you need to complete a FAFSA form each year!
