Apply for Aid: Transfer
Are you ready to be a Wildcat? We’re eager to help you get there. Follow these steps to start.
1. Apply for Admission at The University of Arizona
When you submit your admission application, you are considered for:
- University of Arizona Admission
- Merit Scholarships (deadline July 1, 2024)
2. Complete Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
To apply for federal student aid, complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a free application that gives you access to lots of types of financial aid to help pay for college. The 2024-2025 FAFSA will be available by January 1, 2024.
Institutional funding is limited. Complete your FAFSA by the Priority Filing Date to be considered:
- Admitted Fall 2024: April 1, 2024
- Admitted Spring 2025: November 1, 2024
When completing your FAFSA, be sure to include Arizona's school code (001083) to avoid delays in the processing of your aid. Remember, you need to complete a FAFSA each year!

3. Explore Transfer Scholarships
In addition to federal financial aid, you may qualify for one of the following University of Arizona Academic Tuition awards. As a transfer student, you have additional unique opportunities to fund your Arizona education. These awards are merit-based scholarships for incoming transfer students, each with their own eligibility requirements and deadlines.

For timely processing of your financial aid, we recommend you submit the FAFSA as early as possible.
