Are you ready to be a Wildcat? We’re eager to help you get there. Follow these steps to start.
1. Apply for Admission at The University of Arizona
When you submit your admission application, you are considered for:
- University of Arizona Admission
- Merit Scholarships
- Deadlines:
- May 1, 2027 for Summer 2027 admits
- June 1, 2027 for Fall 2027 admits or
- December 1, 2027 for Spring 2028 admits

2. Complete Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form
To apply for federal student aid, and institutional need-based aid, complete the FAFSA form. The FAFSA is a free application that gives you access to various types of financial aid to help pay for college. The 2027-2028 FAFSA form became available on October 1, 2026.
Institutional funding is limited. Complete your FAFSA form by the Priority Filing Date to be considered:
- Admitted Fall 2027: April 1, 2027
- Admitted Spring 2028: November 1, 2027
When completing your FAFSA form, be sure to include Arizona's school code (001083) to avoid delays in the processing of your aid. Remember, you need to complete a FAFSA form each year!

Once your FAFSA form has been processed by Federal Student Aid, our team will be sent a copy and we’ll use that information to generate your financial aid offer. We will begin importing FAFSA information into our system in December. Then, we use all the information on your University of Arizona admissions application and your FAFSA form to determine what types of financial aid you qualify for.
Financial aid offers admitted first-year Fall 2027 students will be available starting in spring 2027. You’ll be notified via text and email once your financial aid offer is ready for review.
