Student Loan Repayment Workshop
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is offering a Student Loan Repayment workshop as part of our AzAidSmart series, open to all our graduating Wildcats. We encourage you to attend a session to understand your next steps better and learn which repayment plan is best for you. While this workshop is not required, we strongly encourage you to join us so you feel more prepared to begin making payments and to take proactive measures to get your loans paid off sooner.

Perfecting Your Scholarship Search!
Did you know that it’s Scholarship Season? Most scholarships begin to open in November and are due sometime before May, so now is the best time to log into Scholarship Universe and apply for potential scholarships.
This workshop will equip you with the tools you need to become a Scholarship Universe super user!

It's time to file your 2024/2025 FAFSA and we are here to help. During our FAFSA Filing workshop we'll be presenting a brief overview of the FAFSA and have breakout rooms available in case you need to meet with a financial aid counselor one on one.

Your Best Financial Future!
We know that deciding which college to attend might be the biggest financial decision you’ve made thus far. In light of that, the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid (OSFA) is committed to equipping students with the tools they need to be successful in selecting the college that is the best financial fit for them.
Our two-part workshop series, Your Best Financial Future, has been uniquely designed to help non-Arizona resident students plan for their expected financial aid and their estimated educational and living expenses as a student at Arizona. In addition, it will help you:
-Gain a better understanding of what your estimated four-year costs could be
-Consider what paying for your undergraduate career at Arizona looks like and
-How this investment impacts your future
Workshops will be held virtually on zoom at 10:00 am, Arizona time on:

You will leave with a better understanding of how to complete your appeal and how to get back on track so you can maintain your financial aid eligibility in the future.
Determining Your Out-of-Pocket Costs
Open to all incoming first-year students and their supporters, this workshop will help you calculate your expected expenses for the year and understand how your offered financial aid can help to offset those costs.
Understanding Your Options: the Parent PLUS Loan
Most families use a variety of funds to cover college costs, including self-help aid like loans. Join our workshop to learn more about parent PLUS loans including how to apply, current interest rates, when repayment begins and options to defer repayment.
Investing in Your Education Workshop
This summer, we’ll be hosting Investing in Your Education, a workshop to help students understand their student loan options. Our workshop will walk you through: the difference between subsidized and unsubsidized loans, how to calculate how much you will need to borrow, and understanding of repayment options after you graduate.
FAFSA Verification Workshop
Has your FAFSA been selected to go through the federal verification process? Join the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) for an AzAidSmart workshop that will help guide you through the verification process. During our workshop, you will learn what documents you will need to provide so you can complete the federal verification process.
