Apply for Aid: DACA or Dreamer Students
The University of Arizona defines DACA/Dreamer Applicants as:
- Non-US citizens currently in the United States who do not hold an immigration or student visa
- Individuals not defined as a permanent resident, asylee, or refugee
- Brought to the US by parents or other relatives and were under age 16 at the time of arrival
- May or may not have filed DACA paperwork with the U.S. Government
Tuition for DACA Students
Qualifying, non-citizen Arizona high school graduates are able to receive in-state tuition at Arizona universities and community colleges.
1. Apply for Admission at The University of Arizona
When you submit your admission application, you are considered for:
- University of Arizona Admission
- Merit Scholarships (deadline April 1, 2025)

2. Monitor your Catmail for an Invitation to Complete the CSS Profile
The CSS Profile provides a pathway, for those who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA, to be reviewed for non-federal institutional aid. After you apply for admission, our office will reach out via email with an invitation to complete the CSS Profile. Invitations are sent out weekly to qualifying students. Admitted students for Fall 2024 will begin to receive notices from our office in mid- Spring.
DACA/Dreamer students continue to be ineligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid including any institutional aid that requires the submission of a valid, Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

TheDream.US
Scholarship Consideration
To be considered for TheDream.US Scholarship, Arizona resident applicants must be admitted as a degree seeking first-year or Transfer student on Arizona’s Main Campus for Fall 2025 and meet additional criteria as outlined by TheDream.US.
Application:
The application for the 2025-2026 Scholarship opened on November 1, 2024. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2025.
