FAQ - What can I do to report changes to my and/or my contributor(s) (spouse or parent), income or assets or other expenses, not reflected on my FAFSA?

Question
What can I do to report changes to my and/or my contributor(s) (spouse or parent), income or assets or other expenses, not reflected on my FAFSA?
Answer

One of the special circumstances appeals, the FAFSA Data Appeal, can be used to report changes to assets and income or report additional expenses, including large medical expenses, private education for grades K-12, etc., not reflected on your FAFSA. You must contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to request access to this online appeal form. You will also be asked to provide supporting documentation when completing the appeal. L
