Can I use financial aid from the current academic year to resolve my past due balance in a previous academic year?
  • No. You can only use financial aid to pay balances for the corresponding academic year. For example, if you have a past due balance from the Summer 2023 semester, your financial aid from the 2023-2024 academic year will not be applied to the past due balance. 
  • Please note that the summer semester is a part of the preceding academic year. For example, the Summer 2023 semester is a part of the 2022-2023 academic year. Therefore, you can only use financial aid for the 2022-2023 academic year if you have a past due balance for the summer 2023 semester.
