Can I use financial aid from the current academic year to resolve my past due balance in a previous academic year?
Answer
No. You can only use current financial aid to pay balances for the corresponding academic year.
For example, if you have a past due balance from the Summer 2026 semester, your financial aid from the 2026-2027 academic year cannot be applied to the past due balance, it can only be applied to charges for the 2026-2027 academic year which begins with Fall 2026.
- Please note that the summer semester is a part of the preceding academic year.
