FAQ - Why am I no longer Pell eligible?

Eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant is determined each year and is based on various factors including your household income and number of family members in the household. 

For the year 2024-2025 aid year specifically, the FAFSA Simplification Act has changed what information from your FAFSA is considered for Pell Eligibility. In addition, you could be seeing this difference as a result of a change to whom your required parental contributor(s) are and/or in your or your contributor’s (parent or spouse) financial information provided on the FAFSA.
