Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Renewal Criteria for Continued Arizona Assurance Funding
- Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by March 1, 2025
- Be Federal Pell Grant eligible as calculated by the FAFSA
- Remain a resident of the state of Arizona for tuition purposes
- Enroll in a minimum of 12 University of Arizona units per semester
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
- Remain enrolled in Main Campus (Arizona Online and Distance campus students are not eligible for Arizona Assurance Funding)
- Complete the Arizona Assurance Program Requirements
Important Dates and Deadlines for Continuing Arizona Assurance Students
| November 22, 2024 | 2025-2026 FAFSA becomes available |
| March 1, 2025 | 2025-2026 FAFSA must be submitted |
| June 1, 2025 | Date by which FAFSA rejects and/or errors must be resolved Date by which all requested documentation must be submitted to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) |
| May 5, 2025 | AZA Appeal becomes available |
| July 1, 2025 | Priority Submission Deadline for 2025-2026 Arizona Assurance appeal |
| October 1, 2025 | Final Submission Deadline for 2025-2026 Arizona Assurance appeal |

* All FAFSA deadlines listed on this page are for Arizona Assurance Program renewed funding, not for federal aid awarding purposes. The 2025-2026 FAFSA can be completed at any point between November 22, 2024 and June 30, 2026; however, March 1, 2025 is the institutional grant funding priority deadline.
