Fall 2022/Spring 2023 Renewal Criteria for Continued Arizona Assurance Funding
The information below is applicable only to continuing, undergraduate students selected for Arizona Assurance 2021-2022 cohort and earlier. Fall 2022 incoming first-year students should refer to the information posted here.
- Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st every year
- Be Federal Pell Grant eligible as calculated by the FAFSA
- Remain a resident of the state of Arizona for tuition purposes
- Complete a minimum of 12 University of Arizona units per semester
- Complete a minimum of 24 University of Arizona units each academic year
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 Cumulative GPA
- Remain enrolled in Main Campus (Arizona Online and Distance campus students are not eligible for Arizona Assurance Funding)
- Complete the Arizona Assurance Program Requirements

* All FAFSA deadlines listed on this page are for Arizona Assurance Program renewed funding, not for federal aid awarding purposes. The 2022-2023 FAFSA can be completed at any point between October 1, 2021 and June 30, 2023; however, March 1, 2022 is the institutional grant funding priority deadline.
