Achievement Award

Achievement Award

This is a need-based, institutional grant award reserved for Non-Arizona Residents seeking their First Bachelor's Degree at the University of Arizona Main Campus.

Achievement Award Invitation and Selection Process for 2024-2025

Fall 2024 incoming first-year and transfer students who meet certain criteria based on information provided on their 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be invited to submit additional information via the Resource Evaluation Poll for Achievement Award consideration. In some cases, students will also be asked for a Resource Evaluation Form to be completed by their non-FAFSA parent. The information collected on the Resource Evaluation Poll and the Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation Form (if applicable) will then be used, in conjunction with the information provided on the FAFSA, for Achievement Award selections.

How to know if you have been invited to submit the Resource Evaluation Poll:

  • You will have a To Do item in your UAccess Student Center and
  • OSFA will send an email to your official, University of Arizona email address

Please review the information provided in both the email and your To Do List, including important deadlines.

The deadline to submit the Resource Evaluation Poll is June 1, 2024

Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation

OSFA will notify students who are also required to submit the Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation Form only after the student responds to the Resource Evaluation Poll. This notification will be sent via email to your official University of Arizona email account and will also be posted in your UAccess Student Center To Do List.

Students who have been asked for the Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation but have extenuating circumstances which would prevent their Non-FAFSA Parent from completing the Resource Evaluation Form, can submit the Request for Waiver of Non-FAFSA Parent Information Form. If this request is approved, the Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation requirement will be waived.

The final deadline to submit the Non-FAFSA Parent Resource Evaluation Form, or the 2024-2025 Request for Waiver of Non-FAFSA Parent Information Form is June 1, 2024.

Achievement Award Selections:

OSFA will begin to notify students who are selected to receive the Achievement Award in mid to late Spring 2024. This is delayed as a result of the delayed 2024-2025 FAFSA opening.
