Sending a Check
Donors sending a scholarship check to the University of Arizona for a specific student or number of students may use the Scholarship Designation form below. Donors may send their own letter with checks, however to award checks to students as efficiently and effectively as possible, we are looking for the information listed on the Designation form. This form should only be completed by the donor.
Make checks payable to the University of Arizona.
- Checks needing student(s) endorsement will require additional time for processing.
- If the scholarship check is issued to the student AND the University of Arizona, the student will first need to endorse the check before our office can deposit the scholarship funds and post them on the student's account.
Please send both the check AND Scholarship Designation form together to:

Scholarship donor checks are typically processed within 1-2 weeks after we have received it in the mail (or wire transfer). Normal processing times increase at the start of each semester (August and January) due to the large number of scholarship checks received. Please allow for additional time for funds to post to student accounts during this timeframe. Refer to our FAQ page for more information.
